New and green gadgets and vehicles are more popular each day. This means in the near future they will be even more popular. Because of this, many car, bike and motorcycle manufacturers are trying to make the best and the most efficient way of transportation. We already have many types of electric bikes.
All of them are unique in their own way, but now, we have a concept that is even more futuristic. The electric bike, Alter Bike that uses hydrogen fuel is developed by three French companies. They are: Ventec (responsible for the charging the battery pack and electric circuits); Pragma (highly fuel cells and recyclable containers) and Cycleurope (manufacturer of bicycles and several more brands). This bike has a hybrid power supply unit. The good side is that you can replace the fuel blocks.
They are very small, so you can even bring a couple of them when you go somewhere, and replace them when you need to. Alter Bike also has a lithium-ion battery. But the motor can operate even when the battery is empty. It can function until the hydrogen fuel ran out. If you want, you can ride it as the regular bike, with pedaling. At this moment, we only know that the electric motor is placed in the rear wheel and fuel cell is under the seat. There are no more details about this bike. The special customers will be able to buy this bike this year, but others must wait 2016. This is a great way of transportation for people who doesn’t like some futuristic designs. After all, Alter Bike looks like a regular bicycle.
